WELCOME

I have owned Cavalier King Charles since 1994 and therefore have extensive knowledge of the breed, so you can be assured that if you are taking a pup from us it will be a well adjusted happy little pup.  Check out my Guestbook to see what others have to say and the experience they have had with us.

Cavaliers, along with the Irish Setter make absolutely wonderful family pets and I have no hesitation in recommending either breed as pets.

If you wish to take a pup for breeding I will be happy to discuss your requirements and offer any support and advice I can.  It is not recommended that you find your bitch in season and on the spare of the moment  decide to breed her, at best this is careless. It is best to wait until you have sufficient knowledge and if possible someone to mentor you prior to deciding to breed.  Its not simply a case of letting the dog "get on with it" this attitude could endanger the lives of the pups and the mum.

To see a video clip of Romeo in action our Stud Dog check out his clip on You Tube.  Simply search for Perfideliscavaliers.  This is to show you how gentil he is with a female and that the mating process is not as bad you might think.

I have to include a section on "Designer Doggies" these at best are muts, heinz 57, cross breeds, whatever you want to call them  and can be found in your local dog pound!  The main reason for people breeding them is the illusion they are "low molting" etc, all dogs molt to some degree and its the the dead skin flakes that cause allergies.   So dont be fooled into believing you are getting the best of both breeds, as you could be getting the worst of both breeds rolled into one with regards to health issues specific to one breed!

Unless the breed is recognised by the Kennel Club, its not a pedigree.  If you what a poodle then by a poodle from a reputable breeder, who if they have the dogs best interests at heart wouldnt dream of cross-breeding, if you want a Cavalier then get a Cavalier dont be fooled in to buying Cavadooles, Cavashions etc.  Unless it is a Cavalier King Charles Spaniel that your buying, then its a mixed breed!  If your tempted to buy a hybrid, then you should not be paying ridiculous amounts of money, sometimes twice the amount of the actual proper named breed!     It takes years and experience to develope new dog breeds that the Kennel Club recognises, not two different breeds thrown together and hey presto lets give it a fancy name!  I am a great lover of Cavaliers and Setters and I am  often appauled by this practice.

I hope that you enjoy looking at my pictures of my Cavalier King Charles Spaniels and Irish Setter.   Here you will be able to find out breed information for both the Cavalier King Charles Spaniel and Irish Setter.

You will be able to see pictures of our pups we have raised in our Gallery.

All our dogs live as part of the family and puppies are well socialised before they leave for their new homes. They also come with a puppy pack, health checked by my vet @ 6 weeks. They also come with Puppy Care Sheet and a sales contract. All pups come with 18 weeks free insurance and are wormed up-to-date and flea sprayed. I am a qualified micro-chipper and puppies will be Micro-Chipped.  I send the completed Kennel Club Transfer of Ownership papers to the Kennel Club on your behalf, with the relevant fee.   I will also do my very best to honour holidays that are pre-booked and occasionally welcome back pups for boarding.  I also offer a life times support with regard to your new puppy  and should a change of circumstances force you to re-home your pup I will take a dog back and re-home on your behalf or will assist in any future re-homing, check out my Rehoming page.

I would like to thank all the families that have taken pups from us and a big thank you for keeping me up to date with their pup and providing me with up-dated pictures, as without them setting up this site would not have been possible.   If you have taken pups of us and wish to email pictures to me to include in the Gallery that would be fantastic. Or if you have any special news relating to your puppy that you would like to share, then please email details to me.

I hope that you like looking at our website and if you have any queries or questions, please email me or telephone 07936 195976 and I will do my best to answer them.
