Rehoming, occasionally we are asked to take assist in rehoming pups that families have taken off us for whatever reason and we are always glad to assist in this, as we see it as part of our responsible breeding to know where our dogs are and would prefer families to notify us of a change of circumstances rather than them just rehoming the pup and we dont know where the dog ends up. Infact a contract of sale is signed agreeing that the dog is to be returned to the breeder for rehoming. So far, this has worked well for us and we have been successful in rehoming the following dogs. However, we are also whenever possible happy to assist in rehoming a Cavalier or Setter even it is not one that you have taken off us and should you find yourself with this undaunting task please do not hesitate to contact us to see if we are able to assist you in this regard.
So far we have been successful in rehoming: -

Daisy
Daisy was returned to us after only a week after her family realised that a pup wasnt for them, fortunately Daisy was soon snapped up by a new family.

Finley Oscar with Finley
Finley, was placed with this brother Fraser at 8 weeks, however after his owner became ill, they decided that it was better for both boys to be rehomed. Finley was snapped up by a local family who already have an Irish Setter called Oscar and Collie called Meg. I have been to see Finley in his new home and now have a regular Tuesday cuppa with his new mum and he never gets bored of giving you a big sloppy kiss or sitting on top of you to give you plenty of cuddles. I am delighted that he is getting on so well, his new family absolutely adore him. Apart from being a little mischevious which is typical for Finley he seems to be doing really well and has settled in fantastic with his two new friends. Hopefully Finley & Oscar will be holidaying with us in September. Looking forward to that.

Fraser Fraser with his new friends
Like Finley, we was asked to rehome Fraser. He was also snapped up by a family from Sheffield who have two Cocker Spaniels, Tia & Marty. So far Fraser is doing well with his new family and I can tell from the emails I have had back of his new family that he is absolutely loved to bits. His new owner informs me that she talks about him that much to her colleagues that she has been banned from talking about him!!! Fraser is enjoying long walks daily on the Moors and we wish him well with his new family.

Archie with his new friend Pepper
This handsome chap is Archie he came to us when he was 6 months old. Very pretty for a boy! He came to us in April 2008 after his owner asked us to find him a good home as their circumstances had changed. This was not a puppy that we have bred but we was more than happy to assist. Archie was soon snapped up by a previous couple who had bought a Ruby Girl of us in 2007 and was looking for a playmate for Pepper. I am happy to report that Archie is settling into his new home and Pepper is delighted to have a friend. Pepper & Archie came to stay in May 2008 whilst their owners were on holiday and it was lovely to see what a little charactor Archie is. He is obviously doing extremely well in his new placement and is a delightful little boy.

Saffie came back to us in March 2009 after a change in circumstances with her family. Saffie left for Scotland in April and we had a very pleasant afternoon meeting with her new family before they left with her which reassured us that she was going to the best possible home. She has met all the neighbours and all her new family and has already become a firm favourite. She has also becomes Anne's shadow. We was be sad to see her leave.
Molly at the back, Lexi Pink Colar, Lena Lilac Colar
Molly came back to us in April 2009 under extremely sad circumstances as her owner had to take care of her very ill mum and made the hardest decision possible which was to put Molly's needs first. She realised that she couldnt give Molly all that she needed with being such a young pup. We were therefore asked to rehome Molly. It was extremely heart breaking having to collect Molly seeing how upset her owner was to let her go. Having said that we are pleased to say that Molly will be staying in the family and is being rehomed with her two sisters Lexi and Lena. Lexi & Lena are currently taking a course at puppy class doing the Canine Good Citizen Scheme run by the Kennel Club and they are due to go on to the next level being Bronze. They will also be taking Ring Craft Classes and it is hoped that they will be entered into some shows in the summer of 2009. Molly will therefore be following in their foot steps and is due to enrol in the same Class. We therefore look forward to seeing what comes of this. I no that Molly is going to settle into her new home having already been introduced to Lexi & Lena. Molly is a credit to her previous owner and was lucky enough to be given basic obedience so she should therefore fly through puppy class.

Moet was returned to us in May 2009 for rehoming. He had a lovely affectionate nature about him and was soon found a new home with Emma and her family, who also have a 10 month old ruby girl called Heidi. Moet has settled in with his new family fantastically and we look forward to hearing further news of him becoming firm friends with Heidi. Best wishes to Moet and his new family.
