This is Romeo, our PROVEN stud dog.    He is KC reg.  Holds a Clear Eye Certificate. He has the party colours in him and therefore can be used with all four colours. So far he has thrown out all four colours.  

He is a handsome chap and  definately lives up to his name.   If your thinking of using Romeo for stud, I will need to see a copy of the bitches pedigree and ideally a picture if using email. 

Please also ensure that your bitch is in good health and not over weight, it is not advisable to mate up a bitch that is carrying 2/3 extra kilos as during pregnancy they gain 2/3 kilos and the extra weight they gain can impact on not only their heart but the pups as well.  If your in doubt as to the breed standard then please look at my page on  Cavaliers.  If your in doubt consult your vet or your more than welcome for me to assess the bitch prior to mating.  It is a good idea that if you think your going to mate up your bitch in the future and they are over weight to put them on a strict light food diet. Adult dogs only require one meal a day and I would highly recommend Pedigree Light.  This food plus regular exercise should shift any extra kilos in weight that your Cavalier is carrying.

I accommodate bitches during mating. The reason for this is that if the bitch is not quite ready to stand on her 9th day it is better for me to have the bitch with me and I can try the next day.  Also maiden bitches tend to stand a lot better when the family is not present.   Also due other committments it is impossible for me to fit in with the family if they wish to bring the bitch back  and forth.  If you have any doubts about leaving your girl with me, please read the comments in my guestbook regarding studing.  Entries 122, 126 & 130  & 140,  158 relate to our recent matings with Romeo.

I will also provide all necessary advice and information regarding whelping if this is your first litter.  Having amast a good deal of experience in whelping my own litters I have put together my own breeding & whelping guide for first time breeders.

I will provide video/photograph proof any mating taking place.  A free return mating is offered in the event of non-pregnancy.

For a small fee of £15 you can bring your female back from day 18 and I will scan them to confirm pregnancy.

I can also Micro Chip your hole litter or if your female is not microchipped this can be done when she is here for mating.
